On September 2–3, 2026, HONCHON SMILE held a two-day Factory Open Day, giving our sales team an opportunity to step into the production environment, explore our manufacturing processes, and gain a deeper understanding of how dental zirconia blocks are made.
For us, product knowledge goes beyond specifications and brochures. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes helps our team communicate with customers more accurately and provide more professional support.
During the Factory Open Day, our sales colleagues followed the complete production process of dental zirconia blocks.
From raw material preparation and automatic dry pressing to subsequent processing, inspection, packaging, and other production stages, the team gained a comprehensive understanding of how a zirconia block moves through the manufacturing process.
Seeing the production process firsthand also helped our sales team better understand the importance of process control, consistency, efficiency, and quality management in dental material manufacturing.
One of the highlights of the event was a close look at our automated production equipment.
The team observed our fully automated dry pressing and packaging processes, demonstrating how automation can improve production efficiency and process consistency.
We also demonstrated our automated external milling production line, which integrates:
3 milling machines + 2 robotic arms + 1 marking machine
The robotic arms automatically transfer products between different stages, while the milling machines and marking equipment work together as part of an integrated production workflow.
The demonstration gave our sales team a clearer picture of how automation is being incorporated into our manufacturing operations and how standardized production processes support stable and efficient manufacturing.
For our sales team, this Factory Open Day was more than a factory tour. It was an opportunity to connect product knowledge with the actual manufacturing process.
Instead of only learning about zirconia blocks through technical specifications and product catalogs, our team was able to see the equipment, processes, and production environment firsthand.
